1. General Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your booking and stay at Leivatho Hotel ("Hotel", "we", "our", or "us") located in Avythos, Kefalonia, Greece. By making a reservation, you agree to these Terms.
2. Reservations and Bookings
2.1 Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation email from the Hotel. Please ensure all details in your confirmation are correct and notify us immediately of any discrepancies.
2.2 Payment Terms
- A deposit may be required at the time of booking
- Full payment is due upon arrival unless otherwise agreed
- We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash (Euros)
- Prices are quoted in Euros and include applicable VAT
2.3 Booking Modifications
Changes to your booking are subject to availability and may incur fees. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to modify your reservation.
3. Check-in and Check-out
3.1 Standard Times
- Check-in: From 15:00 (3:00 PM)
- Check-out: Until 11:00 (11:00 AM)
3.2 Early Check-in / Late Check-out
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Please contact us in advance to arrange.
3.3 Identification
Valid photo identification (passport or ID card) is required for all guests at check-in, as mandated by Greek law.
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 Cancellation Cut-off
A cancellation received 21 days or less prior to the confirmed arrival date results in a charge of 100% of the total accommodation cost. Cancellations received more than 21 days before arrival are eligible for a full refund of the accommodation cost.
4.2 No-show, Early Departure, Late Arrival
A no-show, departure prior to the reserved departure date, or arrival after the reserved arrival date results in a charge of 100% of the total accommodation amount or the remaining accommodation balance.
4.3 Special Offers
Reservations made under special promotions or non-refundable rates may have different cancellation policies as specified at the time of booking.
4.4 Force Majeure
In cases of natural disasters, pandemics, or other force majeure events, we will work with guests to find reasonable solutions, which may include rebooking or credit vouchers.
5. Rates and Charges
5.1 Room Rates
Room rates are subject to change without notice. The rate applicable to your booking is the rate confirmed at the time of reservation.
5.2 Additional Charges
- Tourist tax as required by Greek law
- Damage to hotel property
- Extra services (laundry, minibar, etc.)
- Late check-out fees (if applicable)
6. Guest Responsibilities
6.1 Property Care
Guests are responsible for any damage to the room or hotel property caused during their stay. Charges for damages will be applied to the guest's account.
6.2 Behavior and Conduct
- Guests must respect other guests and hotel staff
- Quiet hours are from 23:00 to 08:00
- Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas
- Parties and events are not permitted without prior approval
6.3 Maximum Occupancy
The maximum number of guests per room must not be exceeded. Additional guests require prior arrangement and may incur extra charges.
7. Hotel Facilities and Services
7.1 Swimming Pool
- Pool hours are subject to seasonal variations
- Children must be supervised by adults at all times
- Pool rules must be observed for safety
7.2 Restaurant and Bar
Operating hours are seasonal and subject to change. Reservations are recommended for the restaurant.
7.3 WiFi
Complimentary WiFi is provided throughout the property. The Hotel is not responsible for connectivity issues or interruptions.
8. Liability and Insurance
8.1 Personal Belongings
The Hotel is not responsible for loss or damage to guests' personal belongings. We recommend using the in-room safe for valuables.
8.2 Limitation of Liability
The Hotel's liability is limited to direct damages and shall not exceed the total cost of your reservation, except where prohibited by law.
8.3 Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal belongings.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR regulations. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information.
10. Right of Admission
The Hotel reserves the right to refuse service or accommodation to any guest who violates these Terms or behaves in a manner that is disruptive, illegal, or harmful to other guests or staff.
11. Pets
Pets are not permitted at the Hotel unless specifically arranged in advance and confirmed in writing.
12. Parking
Free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Hotel is not responsible for any damage to or theft from vehicles.
13. Changes to Hotel Services
The Hotel reserves the right to alter, suspend, or discontinue any service or facility without prior notice. We will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements when possible.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kefalonia, Greece.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
