    Aris and Maria opened Leivatho in 2012 with a simple idea: run a hotel the way you'd host friends at home. Good rooms, honest food, a quiet spot near the sea. Fourteen years on, the team has grown — but the idea hasn't changed. Thirty-four rooms near Avythos Beach, on the south coast of Kefalonia.
